Cory attended Michigan State University where he graduated with honors and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. He then attended Central Michigan University and graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2013. After graduation he quickly joined the ORS staff. His professional interests include sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, and orthopedics. He is currently trained in the Graston® Technique and is pursuing an advanced certification in manual therapy and functional movement. When not working he enjoys playing fantasy football, spending time with his wife, Katie and sons, Jack and Liam, eating sushi, golfing, and watching Michigan State sports.
Maverick graduated from Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in 2014 and then from Central Michigan University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. He joined the ORS family in 2017. His clinical interests include orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. Maverick is currently pursuing his certification to become a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. When he has free time, Maverick enjoys golfing, water sports, working out, spending time with his friends, family, and his parent's five Labrador puppies.
Becky received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at Andrews University. Becky has been with ORS for over 15 years and brings a vast expertise in orthopedics and pediatrics (primarily birth to 6 years old). She is trained in the Graston® Technique, trained with our WellWave, and is currently training in visceral manipulation. Although she is knowledgeable in yoga, her true passion is in Tai Chi and Qi Gong, which she practices regularly. Becky enjoys spending time with her active family of five including camping, hiking, kayaking, and working on their hobby farm.
Connie joined ORS in 2012. She attended Adrian College and received her Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science in 1997. She then moved to Arizona and obtained her Master’s Degree in Science of Physical Therapy in 2000 from Arizona School of Health Sciences (AT Still University). Connie has worked in a variety of treatment settings in the Jackson area and is trained in the Graston® Technique. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Lynn, children, Kadence and Nathan, and three Shih-tzus. Connie is also an active member of the Queen’s Contemporary Music Group, enjoys playing golf, and scrapbooking.
Laura started at ORS in 1988 as a Therapy Aide. She received her Associate Degree in Applied Science from Kellogg Community College in 1993. Laura has worked in various settings, including neuro rehab, home care, skilled nursing, and out-patient clinics. She enjoys working with many different diagnoses, but especially with total knee replacements, total hip replacements, and shoulder injuries and is trained in the Graston® Technique. When not working, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, who are very active in sports. She also enjoys outdoor activities, running, and swimming.
Morgan joined the ORS team in 2010. She received her Associate Degree of Applied Science Degree from Kellogg Community College and is trained in the Graston® Technique and specializes in Women’s Health Therapy. Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband, Thadd, two daughters, and family as well as playing volleyball with friends.
Taryn graduated from the Professional Skills Institute with her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree and started working for ORS in 2009. She enjoys working with a variety of diagnoses at our Aquatic Center. Taryn’s continuing education includes Aquatic Therapy, the Graston® Technique, and Kinesio Taping. Taryn previously worked as a Therapy Aide in a Physical Therapy clinic in Adrian. In her spare time, Taryn enjoys camping, running, and spending time with her family and friends.
Leslie is from Battle Creek and graduated from Kellogg Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She joined ORS in 2010. Leslie specializes in muscle energy techniques, Maitland mobilizations, Graston®, and Visceral manipulation. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her malamute.
Michelle joined ORS in 2005. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Biology from Ferris State University and has an Associate Degree of Applied Science from Davenport College. She has experience in outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, acute care, and home health. Michelle is trained in the Graston® Technique.
