Bio: Jerry is one of the co-founders of ORS.  He specializes in orthopedics, sports medicine and treatment of the knee and shoulder, including post arthroscopic and knee ligament reconstruction.  Jerry is a graduate of Ohio State University. He has completed his certification in the BACKtoGOLF® “Sports Medicine Program for Golfers” and the Advanced BACKtoGOLF® Program.  He is an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association, the Private Practice Section and the Sports Medicine Section of the APTA, the Michigan Physical Therapy Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Bio: Kevin is a co-owner of ORS.  He specializes in sports injuries and athletic enhancement.  He graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he had a  double-major in exercise science and physical therapy.  He received his athletic training degree through Albion college in 1996 and is a certified specialist in sports physical therapy.  He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Bio: Aaron has been with ORS since October of 2001.  He received his Master’s Degree in physical therapy from Central Michigan University in May of 2000. Aaron is a member of the orthopedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association. His main clinical interests are in orthopedics and manual therapy.

Bio: Dave has been with ORS since 1999. He received his Master’s Degree in physical therapy from Central Michigan University and is an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association.  His professional interests include geriatrics, back pain and pediatrics.  He has three children, including a son with Down’s Syndrome, which led to his interest in physical therapy.

Bio: Lisa has been a physical therapist at ORS since 1990.  She has a physical therapy degree from Grand Valley State University and is an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association and the Michigan Physical Therapy Association.  Lisa specializes in the spine, back pain, mechanics and education.  She developed and teaches a “Back School” and has completed several continuing education courses on the spine, sports medicine and manual therapy. Lisa is also the head of the new Total Joint Clinic.

Bio: Brandon joined our staff in 2003. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2002 with a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy. Brandon is a certified athletic trainer and a member of the sports section of the APTA. His main clinical interests are in sports medicine and orthopedics.

Bio: Emily is latest addition to our team of physical therapists. She is originally from Jackson, MI, and has returned home to work with us at ORS after finishing her schooling. Emily received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago in December of 2005. She graduated from Saint Mary's College in Indiana in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Emily is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.  Her main area of interest lies in orthopedics.

Bio: Becky is a 1989 graduate of Andrews University with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.  She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in 1988 with her focus on Anatomy, Orthopedics & wellness/healthy living.  Becky worked with us early in her career and has returned to work with us in 2007.  She enjoys spending free time with her family and practicing yoga.

Bio:  Kim has over 18 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.  She is a graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.  Kim began working with ORS in 2007 and is currently working toward her Master's Degree.

Bio: Angela has been with ORS since 2002. She received her Associate's Degree in Applied Science from Kellogg Community College. She has worked in various settings such as outpatient rehab, acute care and skilled nursing facilities since 1995. Currently Angela works at the Total Joint Clinic. Her various continuing education courses consist of Wound Care and Ulcer Prevention, Patients at Risk for Falls, and Geriatric Therapeutic Exercise.

Bio: Betsy joined the ORS staff in May of 2005.  She graduated this year from Kellogg Community College with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Immediately after graduation, Betsy joined ORS and began working as a PTA at our Robinson Road location and is the Director of Aquatics at our Total Joint & Aquatic Center.

Bio: Michelle joined ORS in November of 2005. She received her Bachelor's degree in Applied Biology from Ferris State University, and has an Associate of Applied Science from Davenport College. She has experience in outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, acute care and home health. Michelle works at both our Robinson Rd. clinic as well as the Total Joint & Aquatic center.

Bio:  Alison is a graduate of Central Michigan University with her degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science.  She is an active member of National Athletic Trainer's Association, Michigan Athletic Trainers Society, Inc and serves on the Educational Committee.  Alison was the head trainer of Western High School and provided medical coverage to the athletes.  She is a recent graduate of Kellogg Community College with an Assocites Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant and works out of our Page Avenue clinic.  Alison is also a certified instructor for American Red Cross Community First Aid and CPR.  In her spare time, Alison enjoys photography.
