Dim lights Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists, P.C., provides orthopedic and sports physical therapy to individuals in our community! We will continue to work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality of care in a cost-effective manner. We dedicate ourselves to the empowerment of each individual during their treatments through open communication and education.

Our owners take pride in hiring only the finest Physical Therapists to provide the most knowledgeable and caring treatment to our patients.
We genuinely care about our patients. Our patients know us and we know about them. Our patients are not numbers. They are a diverse group of individuals with different conditions.
We work closely with 13 of our area schools providing Athletic Trainers to educate and provide speed and agility training to our students. Our local schools know the quality work we do in both our Therapy and Athletic Training areas.
Our locations offer a variety of treatment options including the areas only Total Joint & Aquatic center, massage therapy for anyone, top-notch equipment for rehabilitation, therapy and wellness programs.
For your first visit:
Plan on 1 1/2 hours for evaluation and treatment. Subsequent visits will take approximately 1 hour.
Please bring your prescription and any recent arthroscopic pictures.
Talk to our office staff about your insurance and whether pre-authorization is required.
If we will be treating your shoulder, please wear a sleeveless shirt. For treatment of the hip, knee, ankle or back, we ask that you wear shorts and comfortable walking shoes.
History of Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists
Privately owned practice owned by Jerry Malone, P.T., and Kevin Barclay, P.T., S.C.S., A.T.C.
The practice was originally formed by Jerry Malone, P.T., and Richard Kohler, P.T. in 1987. Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists is located in Jackson Michigan and has since grown to over 4 locations in Jackson. Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists is the first in our community to bring Aquatic Therapy as an alternative therapy option. The pool features an underwater treadmill, resistance jets & massage jets. We have a combined staff of 92 between the four clinics. We feature top-notch exercise equipment at all of our locations as well as two Certified Massage Therapists. All of our Therapists are licensed in the state of Michigan and provide exceptional care and compassion to our patients.
To show our appreciation for our patients, each month we have a “Patient Appreciation Day” that focuses on a variety of fun giveaways or treats. Our patients are not just our patients, but are considered our friends and family.
We believe in giving back to our community that has trusted us with their care. Our Therapists and staff donate money raised to various charities, churches and organization that need assistance on a regular basis.
